Although this is the quietest time of the year for Duquesa it is also a good time for the local authorities to carry out maintenance and improvements to the area and this winter despite the continuing financial downturn it’s good to see that improvements have been made to the Castillo area of Duquesa.

Medieval Fair Castillo de la Duquesa
There will be a medieval fair in the Castillo area of Duquesa on the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st of August.
The market will kick off at 8.30pm on Thursday 18th August and will be open at 7pm the rest of the weekend.

For anyone who´s never been to a Feria it’s an experience to remember
Each town in Andalucia has an annual feria or fair which is a large travelling fair and an excellent way for residents to relax and party.
The Manilva feria is held each August lasting for 3 or 4 days with plenty of fairground rides and tents selling food and drinks, plenty of live music, flamenco dancers and fun for all the family, this year’s programme is as follows
