Castillo’s new promenade

Although this is the quietest time of the year for Duquesa it is also a good time for the local authorities to carry out maintenance and improvements to the area and this winter despite the continuing financial downturn it’s good to see that improvements have been made to the Castillo area of Duquesa.
The promenade from Duquesa ´s marina along the front of Marina Real, Gaviotas and Los Flamencos now continues in front of Marina del Castillo and onwards to Castillo de la Duquesa where it meets the village.
Plenty of mosaic tiles have been used on the new benches along the front making excellent resting places along the way.
The new children’s play area is also a nice addition situated between the Castillo itself and André and Marias chiringuito.
All in all the whole area looks well thought out and is a great addition to Castillo.
